Man tries to grab 12-year-old boy on his way to bus stop

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man allegedly attempted to grab a 12-year-old boy as he was walking to a bus stop to go to school.

The incident happened on South Clive Street in Grangetown, Cardiff, between 7.20am and 7.40am on Thursday, December 10.

A man, described as black and in his 20s, wearing a green baseball cap and a top featuring a face on the front with a gold chain around it, approached the 12-year-old and tried to grab him.

A member of the public intervened and the boy was able to continue on his way to school unharmed.

Police officers are keen to trace the person who intervened and anyone else who may have seen the incident.
